January 21, 2020 - The Tokyo Academy of Instrumental Heritage Music (TAIHM) is now accepting applications for 2021 Global Artist Residency. Please note that the deadline this year is March 31, 2020, earlier than previous years so we can announce results by April 30, 2020 to make it easier for the participant to make plans before the summer for the next season.
September 3, 2019 – The Tokyo Academy of Instrumental Heritage Music (TAIHM) is pleased to announce that Mr. Eugene Mundie of the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C. has been chosen for the 2020 Global Artist Residency to study the shakuhachi intensively for three months in Tokyo.
